The Devil Wants To Shut You Up!

Photo and Graphic Design - Daniel T. Polk

Moving forward in financial stewardship and resource management, many (if not all) will go through some type of situation(s) where the enemy will take it upon himself to use them to shut you up!!!

God allows NOthing to come into our lives to be victorious over us EXCEPT for the blood work finished by Jesus on the cross--that's all and that's it!  Areas where you are experiencing defeat are the very things God wants you to open up your mouth and declare by faith, Victory!  Those very seemly defeats are the areas and situations God says to use as a weapon against the enemy.  God wants you to take the testimony of your life and what you've had to go through up to now as your sword to overcome the enemy's attack!   God says the way you'll overcome your lack and manage finances HIS way is by your testimony and the blood of the lamb-Revelations 12:11!  Speak Up or be Shut Up!

Before the next two sessions that we are entering into, I suggest you read the book written by Pastor A.K. Thrower entitled, THE DEVIL WANTS TO SHUT YOU UP!!  Destroying The Power Of The Enemy By Using The Word Of God's Testimony.   In reading the book, you'll discover:
  • The importance and power of your testimony.
  • Your faith is on trial and you must testify.
  • How to encourage yourself by using the Testimony of God.
  • How to defeat satanic attacks with the Word of God.
  • How to experience the presence of God's Spirit through the Word.
  • What WORD based worship is about.
In addition to having wisdom revealed, you'll also understand why you are desiring to be the good steward and manager God called you to be.

This 78-page, 6 Chapters book will stir you to open your mouth and speak faith--resting on the truth of what God says about the blessings He has for you.  Rightly, it will stir you to fight back by opening up your mouth!     Until we meet in two weeks--I recommend you get the book, read it, and be ready for what's in store for our next class meetings--I'm excited to see every one's faces and to hear the word of your testimonies!!!

God Bless-

Thursday's Check In--Cast Your Bread. . .

Today's session and article is in honor of the Homegoing of my Grandmother who use to often tell me to cast my bread upon waters.

"Cast your bread upon waters," hearing my Grandmother instruct me with those words as a child, I didn't understand what it meant, what she was saying  nor why she was saying it.   My teen years and young adult moments hearing her telling me, "Cast your bread", only conjured up imagines of soggy pieces of bread floating around a duck pond going nowhere.  It wasn't until I was an adult-a mother-in tea and sandwiches conversation with her regarding a situation with my finances, a debt I owed and wanted to honor my word in paying--that she instructed me to not stress nor worry.  God was walking me through the situation because she had witness me "casting my bread" on many occasions--I just had to trust Him and remain focused on His word.  It was then, after she opened the Bible, and pointed to Ecclesiastics 11: 1-2 that I understood what it meant and how I could trust the Lord to see me through the storm because I had casted my bread upon waters many times without knowing what God promised -- all because I loved Jesus and wanted to serve others as Christ served. I came across this article and thought it would be nice to share since it reminded me of my Grandmother.   Heres to you Big Mom, and thank you for teaching me to cast my bread -- In your walking out the Word I know you heard, "well done my faithful servant" this past week as you entered into eternity.    Cast Your Bread upon the waters--read, and begin casting!

God Bless
