Receipt Envelope UPDATE - We're Almost There!
Continue to put ALL your receipts from purchases and bill payments during this month, February, into your Receipt Envelope (yes, that includes your heart-day gifts). Believe me, I know for some the last few weeks have been either hard to do or uncomfortable to do since our past spending habits didn't include Receipt Envelopes. But guess what? It's all for the greater purpose of financial stewardship -- you'll see when we meet this Sunday immediately after Service in the overflow area. Hang in there everyone!

I have a question about how to look at tax refunds - since we'll have more money to pay out on expenses that we wouldn't normally have how would that affect our reciept process? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteGood question Jewel! My answer to, "how to look at tax refunds" is this: If you spent money in February (no matter where it came from) get a receipt for it and put it in your envelope. We will be looking at "spending patterns/spending trends" that for most of us, went under the radar. *Remember, whatever you purchased---get a receipt* HTH!
